Felix's Story...
Felix has no idea how cute he really is. Just one look at his sweet face and he’ll have you in his furry grasp. In his short time with us, Felix has already become a favorite with The Pet Rescue Center team. This three-year-old, 12 Lb. Border terrier mix loves nothing more than long daily walks with his friend, Avalon the Lab. You haven’t seen cute, until you’ve seen this little guy joyfully rolling around in the grass with a dog 5 times his size. You may feel tempted to join him, and you know what? He’ll make room for you. Can you make room for him in your home and in your heart? Contact The Pet Rescue Center today to meet our pal Felix.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Felix, a Mission Viejo Border Terrier/Norfolk Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier/Norfolk Terrier for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Border Terrier/Norfolk Terrier dog from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier/Norfolk Terrier breeders who help with Border Terrier/Norfolk Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
