Montana's Story...
Sweet and talkative Montana is a 1 year old, 8 lb Maine Coon brown tabby mix who was given up by her family when she had kittens! She is extremely social and loving and loved to hang out with people. She was the best mama ever to her babies, who were recently adopted together. Now it's her turn to find the perfect forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Montana, a Los Angeles Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
