Kyle's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Kyle Raynor was the last dog left behind when Rocklin shelter closed on the 1st. So at closing time we ended up going back for him. He is probably 2-3 years old and loves people, is good in the crate and overall is pretty easy. He gets along with animals (he and another intact male aren't besties but that is common and his testes will be leaving soon). He will be neutered, m icrochipped, up to date on vaccines and ready for a home of his own. It is sad that all the people who went there wanting dogs, and no one adopted him. We know he is just a tan Chihuahua, and they are not even a little popular, but we hope he has a chance to quickly find the family he deserves. You can find our process and apply online at: http:// adoption-process/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kyle, a Sacramento Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
