Samantha Jane, or Sammie, is a little shy at first, but she’s also sweet and obedient. She was surrendered yesterday, and I imagine she’s still trying to understand why she’s in this new and loud environment. Her previous owners were moving and couldn’t take Sammie with them. They said that she’s good with children and house trained. One thing that really impressed me was how obedient Sammie is. She was obviously afraid of my camera but would still come to me when I called her. As soon as I lifted my camera, though, she’d run under the table. I’d put it down, call her again, and she’d come. I preferred sitting with Sammie and petting her, but I also had to sneak a few pictures for the website. Sammie was happiest when she was enjoying treats, being petted, or going for walks. When she’s walking on a leash, her tail is held high, and she likes to walk at a fast pace. Sammie is a beautiful, well-behaved dog who wants to be loved. Come see if she’s the right match for you!
