Steve's Story...

This is Steve and he is looking for his forever home!! He is around 3 yrs, utd on shots, neutered and microchipped. Steve spent his whole life on a chain till his wonderful foster mom saved him. He full of life and loves to play. He is potty trained and looking for a family to call his own. He needs a family who will take the time to teach him how to be an inside dog again. Steve is what we call a Velcro dog. If you go to the kitchen, he wants to go. If you go pee, he wants to go too. He is great with other dogs and loves kids. Are you the perfect family for him???

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Steve, a Harriman American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Harriman, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Harriman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harriman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harriman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harriman paves the way for another one to be saved.
