Honey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Honey's Story...
Honey is a 2 yr old, Chihuahua/Shepherd blend. She weighs about 13-14 pounds. When I pulled her from SAPA she had an eye ulcer that had, at some point, ruptured. It was later decided that her eye could not be saved and the eye was removed. But this definitely does not stop her. She is very sweet and loves attention. She gets along with my cats but plays a little rough so she probably needs to be around full grown cats only. She also prefers dogs her own size. When I come home she runs in laps around my house until her legs cannot carry her anymore. She has a very weird sounding bark but she doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She will let you know when someone is at the door though!! She needs a yard to play in. She is UTD on her shots and monthly preventatives. She is also spayed and chipped. She loves to "shake" hands and she loves belly rubs very much.

We do vet check and home visits on our adopters. Adoption fee is $375 and all dogs are neutered/spayed and up to date on shots. Please contact us if you would like to fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a West Hartford Chihuahua/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in West Hartford, or seeking a Chihuahua/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in West Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
