Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, there! My name is Duchess. I was rescued from a very bad life and given a second chance in a nice, warm, loving home. Unfortunately, my family is moving and they can’t take me or my brothers and sisters. I’m not sure why, but we are all very sad.
I haven’t been with Henrico Humane Society that long and I’m still learning how to be in a new environment. My foster mom gives me lots of pets and snuggles, which I really love. There are dogs here, and they’re ok but definitely not as fun as cats. I love wrestling, playing or napping with other cats!
I’m quite beautiful as you can see. I have a gorgeous coat of pastel orange and black with which is called a Tortie. My eyes are a beautiful shade of green! My front paws are declawed. That means I can’t be an outdoor kitty since I can’t defend myself.
I’d do well in a house with other cats, maybe a dog and older children.
If you’d like to meet me, please email cats@henricohumane.org to setup a visit. Don't forget to tell them you want to meet Duchess!
