Waffles's Story...
****Looking for a playmate??***

Then waffles is your girl! She is a 2-3 year old female shih-tzu looking for her forever home. She is currently in a foster home with dogs and cats and does great with both of them. She loves to play tag and tugs with the other dogs. They love to play outside with each other as well. She sleeps in bed with her foster mom and does great in a home environment. She does require a fenced in yard as she has energy and loves to be outside. Waffles would also love some kids in her new home but not a must.

Waffles is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, fecal tested, on flea and heartworm preventative, microchipped, 30 days of Pet Health Insurance for free, groomed and ready for her new home

Adoption Donation is $250.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Waffles, a Urbana Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Urbana, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Urbana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Urbana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Urbana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Urbana paves the way for another one to be saved.
