Hi all! My name is Meatie cause I'm a big ol' hunk!
I'm a pretty laid back guy, very well trained - I know all my basic obedience commands and I am house trained, leash trained, and crate trained as well.
I'm a low/medium energy kinda guy...I like daily walks around the neighborhood or a park, and I enjoy an occasional easy hike in cooler weather, but I get overheated and tired pretty easily so I prefer to stay indoors and relax in couch potato mode (something I'm a professional at) when it's hot out.
I've been through a lot in my 6 years, but I make the most out of every day and truly enjoy life to the fullest! My foster mom laughs at me a lot when I wiggle my whole body, stretch my arms and let out a joyous gurgle-moan, make my "Elvis face" when someone scratches just the right spot on my side...I am pretty much the cutest!
I'm eager to please and thrive on things like routine and continued learning! I'm looking for a family that is going to spend time with me every day doing cool stuff!
I've had some trouble with other dogs in the past, so I would prefer to not live with any other animals. It's just too stressful for me. I want to be the center of your universe is all!
