America's Story...
America! What a beautiful country! Oh I can’t help myself! I must recite just one verse of the greatest song ever written!
O beautiful, for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
I’m a young woman…as free and beautiful as my name…America! I’m housebroken crate-trained and as sweet as the sky is blue, I get along with dogs, and I have even lived with cats in the past! Respectful kids 6+ will even be ok with great little me. Unfortunately, a lot of folks have passed me by because I am not at my “prettiest” right now. I have a little allergy so my beautiful coat is thin in some spots and it makes me look a little scraggily. Honestly, I am just down right embarrassed! My hair is growing back now and I am on my way to a prettier me on the outside. On the inside I really couldn’t get any prettier! 3 years old- 19lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; spay, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam ( Portland/MIlwaukie area) ,1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

America, a Portland American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
