Female Puppy's Story...
Eight greyhound puppies were rescued on 16 April 2008. All are in good health and have hungry appetites. The pups will nurse from their mom and will be weened until their little needle teeth become too hazardous for mommy dog. We will update their progress on a routine basis. Six puppies (1 female and 5 males) have been adopted, but are still nursing and will go to their new home at an appropriate time. All will be spayed or neutered. We are accepting applications for the 2 remaining pups. This is the black female puppy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Female Puppy, a El Cajon Greyhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Greyhound puppy from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
