Who likes fireworks? Who likes dogs? Who likes a dog full of fireworks? If you answered Yes, then Liberty is your gal!

This little firecracker was found as a stray living off the leftovers of a dumpster at Liberty Junior High in Richardson. And it was the week before the 4th of July. Luckily some good Samaritans were putting out water and food to help. One of CRT's foster families saw her out there and immediately went into action. She had been elusive to all who tried to catch her. But our CRT foster family had just the right touch to convince her that she would be safe!

Now that she has gotten settled in and completely vetted she has come out of her shell and shown us what a real gem she is. This little lady is all about PLAY, PLAY, PLAY! Playing with other dogs, with toys, with her people. Like Cindy Lauper says "Girls just wanna have fun!" She is a bundle of energy and love. She will bark when excited and at meal time when she is in her crate.

One of her quirky habits is when you are holding her or she is in your lap and she really wants to get your attention she puts her mouth over your whole ear or over your nose! She doesn't bite, she just loves the reaction she gets apparently, cuz it cracks me up! She will do it on your arm too. The other thing about her that is one of those "uh-oh" funnies, is that she likes to do dishes. Although it often means you just lost your meal! So we are working with her on manners. She is also learning the use of a leash. She has mastered the doggie door, crate training, and potty training.

Liberty would love to join your family and really needs another dog to play with when you are busy doing other things. Children are okay in the home as long as they are capable of understanding her mouthiness and can manage her energy level.

Liberty is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative. and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
