Hi there, my name is Marvin! I’m an adult yorkie-poodle mix. I’m a happy go-lucky boy. As you may be able to tell from my smile, I am very flirty and playful. I love to wrestle stuffed toys, chase tennis balls, and flop over for belly rubs for anyone that might give me a little love’n. My sister and I were brought to NBS Animal Rescue together. Her name is Precious – she is about half my size, and not as adventurous as me, but I love her. We have been together for seven years, and are hoping to find an adopter that would adopt us together. However, we do pretty well as individuals, on our own. We just have two totally different personalities. You’ll have to read her profile to learn more about her. Now, it’s my time to shine! I’m social, friendly, and an excellent lap warmer. If you are looking for a tail-wagging fella to snuggle up with and go for walks? I’m your man! To take the next steps,
1.) Visit www.NBSanimalRescue.com to fill out my adoption application. As an approved adopter, my rescue friends can set up a home visit so I can meet you. Our rescue is 100% run by volunteers, to help your application be processed as quickly as possible, please make sure to….
2.) Call your veterinarian and give them permission to release information about your current and past pet’s veterinary history.
3.) Call your references too! Let them know to expect a phone call from an unknown phone number, and a rescue team member will need to talk to them on the phone as a reference.
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes a DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine (age appropriate), heartworm test (age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food. If you’d like to meet me, please apply online and to become an approved adopter!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative , spayed/neutered (unless a documented medical reason is on file with your veterinarian). Dogs must be current on Distemper DHPP combo vaccine and Rabies vaccine, cats must be current on Distemper and Rabies at the time of application. This also applies to any pets in your home within the past five years.
