Oh, hello. My name is Precious! I’m an adult yorkie-poodle mix. As you may be able to tell from my photo, I’m a teeny little thing, and can be quite shy and submissive. It takes me a moment to warm up – but after a few kind words and maybe a treat, I’m a real snuggler. My brother and I were brought to NBS Animal Rescue together. His name is Marvin, He is definitely the more social and ambitious one of the two of us. We have been together for seven years, and are hoping to find an adopter that would adopt us together. However, we do pretty well as individuals, on our own. We just have two totally different personalities. You’ll have to read his profile to learn more about him.
As for me? I’m the tail wagging, sorta nervous little girl that just wants to be held and loved. Belly rubs and having sweet nothings whispered in my ear are my favorite way to spend the evening. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application at www.NBSAnimalRescue.com

To take your next steps....
1.) Visit www.nbsar.org to fill out my adoption application. As an approved adopter, my rescue friends can set up a home visit so I can meet you. Our rescue is 100% run by volunteers, to help your application be processed as quickly as possible, please make sure to….
2.) Call your veterinarian and give them permission to release information about your current and past pet’s veterinary history.
3.) Call your references too! Let them know to expect a phone call from an unknown phone number, and a rescue team member will need to talk to them on the phone as a reference.
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes a DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine (age appropriate), heartworm test (age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food. If you’d like to meet me, please apply online and to become an approved adopter!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative , spayed/neutered (unless a documented medical reason is on file with your veterinarian). Dogs must be current on Distemper DHPP combo vaccine and Rabies vaccine, cats must be current on Distemper and Rabies at the time of application. This also applies to any pets in your home within the past five years.
