Moose's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Moose's Story...
Moose is a 2-year old neutered male that came to us from a public animal shelter where numerous staff members and volunteers worked very hard to save his life. When he came to us, he had typical young-adult behaviors like mouthiness and jumping that kept him from finding the right home at the shelter. Since joining us, he has blossomed into a well behaved young man that will make someone a wonderful companion. Come meet MOOSE!
Moose is a spectacular in every way. Within minutes in our care, he was anxious to show us his athletic skills and boundless energy. He has basic obedience skills, but will require an adopter that is willing to further those skills and provide him a structured home life. In the meantime, he is responding exceptionally well to the training we are providing him while he is in our care.

Come meet MOOSE!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moose, a Altadena German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Altadena, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Altadena.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Altadena already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Altadena breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Altadena paves the way for another one to be saved.
