Andromeda's Story...
Meet Andromeda (aka Andy)! She is such a sweet little Tortie kitty who just loves attention from people. This cat is the ultimate lap cat. If you are looking for a kitty to sit with you and relax, Andy is for you! She is happiest sitting with you getting her head scratched. She will let you hold every which way, including like a baby! She will follow you around looking for attention, too. Andromeda is also quite curious and likes to wander the house exploring. If you are looking for a young adult cat who is mellow and super friendly, please consider Andromeda! She is litterbox trained too! She gets along well with both cats and dogs, but people are her favorite. She would do great as an only pet or with other pets. She is a beautiful cat; that is full of life, and will easily settle into her new adopted home. If you would like to meet her, please email info@FORrescue.net. You may also complete the cat application atwww.FORrescue.net and get things started! She's fostered in Huntsville, AL until she finds her forever home. Thank you for reading!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andromeda, a Nashville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
