Vidalia's Story...
My name is Vidalia. What an unusual name, you say? Well that's because I'm an unusual kitten. In a good way!! I love to play, I LIVE to play!! I will play all day and snuggle up with my foster mom at night. I like to lay right under her chin. I make the spot nice and warm but then she moves me, so I have to start over and so it goes, all night!! I live in my foster home with my twin sister, Liza Jane! The only difference between us is I have brown eyes! Brown eyes are better! I'm being fostered in Hazel Green, Al with kids, cats and dogs and I adore ALL of them! If you'd like to meet me, you'd better hurry! Send an email to info@forrescue.net or better yet, fill out an application at http://forrescue.net/cat-application/. My foster mom will be in contact!!

Vidalia is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on vaccinations, examined by a vet and felv/fiv negative!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vidalia, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
