Chocoholics . . . meet Charlie! If you are a Chocolate Lover, we guarantee this boy is going to melt in your hands AND your heart!! He's an extremely friendly and affectionate boy who loves people of all ages. Charlie is your typical Lab, with his share of goofiness and slobbering, but he'll make a Chocolate lover out of anyone! He was pulled on his last day from a high-kill shelter in Arkansas where he was brought in as a stray and never claimed. Now he's being fostered in a family with kids and dogs and we haven't found anything Charlie doesn't love!! He loves to play fetch, he walks well on the leash, he's puppy-active (but not a banana head in any way). He even enjoys cats: at the high-kill shelter they actually placed a litter of kittens in with him for lack of space, and Charlie enjoyed the company! He knows some basic obedience (but he needs to learn to stop jumping up) and he's smart enough to pick up on it quickly. He loves to ride in the car, too -- the perfect sidekick! He's just a very happy boy . . . and has the constantly-wagging tail to prove it! Charlie is between 1 - 2 years old, he weighs about 55 pounds with more to grow, and we can't see anything but Lab in him. He's still blowing out his puppy coat and with great food and a little time, his whole coat will be a spectacular gleaming milk chocolate.
