Urgent! Golden Girlie is suddenly homeless and needs a new home in which to spend her senior years. Girlie is a Chihuahua/Dachshund, a very sweet dog of 11-1/2 years. She has fallen on hard times. The only human mother she has known since she was a pup has passed away.

Girlie is sweet and reserved, with a calm demeanor. She is good with cats as well as other dogs and is house trained using a doggie door. Her ideal companion will be home with her a lot and have patience to let this pretty girl grieve her recent loss and adjust to a new loving family. She would be ok with older, gentle children.

Girlie is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her rabies vaccine. She has just had a vet check, and aside from cataracts, being a little overweight, and in need of a good dental cleaning she is the picture of health. If you are interested in Girlie, please call Elaina at (510) 314-3427. There will be no adoption fee charged to someone who is willing to give this senior girl a loving home. Also, Girlie will come complete with her own crate, two lovely beds, leashes and several months supply of Frontline. All she really needs now is YOU!
