Madeline's Story...
Hi, my name is Madeline, you can call me Maddie if you like-I answer to either! I am about a year old and am full of energy. My foster mom says I am like the energizer bunny! I love to play with my foster brothers. We wrestle in the living room and chase each other in the yard. My foster sister is kinda grumpy...she is really old so I leave her alone most of the time. I learned to use the doggie door after the second try and really love being outside! I am only 34 pounds right now so I am really petite. Don't let my size fool you though- I can wrestle with my 60 pound foster brother and wear him out! I am good on a leash and potty trained. I would really like to be in a home with another dog to play with and I don't mind cats either. I'm being fostered by the Hummel family in Navarre and will be ready for adoption by the end of the month. I look forward to finding my forever home!.

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME AND WATCH OUR VIDEOS BELOW...THANK YOU!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Madeline, a Gainesville Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Gainesville, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Gainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
