Buzz's Story...
*****I AM A FOREVER FOSTER DUE TO MEDICAL ISSUES. PLEASE CONSIDER SPONSORING ME, DONATIONS CAN BE MADE THROUGH PAYPAL AT: SOUTHERNCROSSBTR.COM. THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING RESCUE!*****

Meet Mr. Buzz Ozwald. Buzz is 12 years old and 26 lbs. This stout, dignified gentleman was found stumbling down the middle of the road, dehydrated. He has mature cataracts and can not see well. Buzz has congestive heart failure and is not a candidate for surgery on his perineal hernia. Needless to say, Mr. Ozwald has not been living the comfortable life he deserves, but things are significantly better now that he found his way to rescue. Buzz is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all his vaccinations, and on heart worm prevention. He is, of course, a perfect gentleman in the house, aside from his very loud snoring! He is being fostered in northern KY. Many thanks for choosing rescue.
Salutations,
Mr. B. Ozwald

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buzz, a Jackson Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
