Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Smokey is a 4 year Belgian Malinois/Shepherd Mix, he is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick, heartworm prevention and is microchipped.
Smokey was owner surrendered because due to his former owner's health she could no longer take care of Smokey. Smokey was originally Rescued from a GA Shelter 3 years ago prior to adoption, now he is back with us and Needs a Family to love.
He is a great dog, very athletic would be great at agility. He is good with other dogs but can sometimes get annoying by his play style, we are not sure how he is with cats but he does not have a prey drive so we feel small animals would be okay. Smokey is crate trained and loves to be in his crate especially if there is a thunder storm, he gets scared when he hears thunder or fire works and likes to retreat into his crate for his safe zone. A crate is not necessary but he will need somewhere to go to feel safe during thunderstorms. Overall Smokey is a very well behaved, smart, social and sweet boy.
If you would like to provide Smokey a home and family to call his own or need information regarding our adoption process please email me direct on luvgermansheps@yahoo.com or submit an online application via our website www.k-9services.net go to Adoption Application page. An application needs to be completed prior to arranging a meet and greet.
All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, spayed and or neutered. Application, home-check, and references must be approved prior to final adoption.
