Bruiser's Story...
Bruiser is such a lover boy. He is about 10 years old we are guessing, could be younger or older we just don't know. He gets around pretty well except for a little hitch in the back end but that sure doesn't stop him from running and playing and falling over for belly rubs. He does not seem to be in any pain whatsoever. He loves everybody he meets. This boy has ended up here in his golden years and we sure hope to find him a forever home for the rest of his years he has left. Come meet this sweet boy today!!

Act quickly to adopt Bruiser. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruiser, a Franklin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Franklin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Franklin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Franklin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Franklin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Franklin paves the way for another one to be saved.
