My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Scout. I am the sweetest, cutest, and happiest little fellow out at the farm . . . or so I've been told. I love to smile and wag my white-tipped tail. I'm a little under a year old and just a small guy---beagle-sized or thereabouts. We don't know my ancestry but the volunteers think my good looks combine the best features of terriers, beagles and maybe some small herding dogs. I won't get much bigger, probably top out at 30 pounds, so I'm the perfect size to love. I'm easy to transport and won't take up much room at all. I have lots of energy, but I'm not obnoxious about it. I just want to love and be loved. I've already been neutered and I'm up to date on my shots. All I want it a place to call home. I get along GREAT with other dogs and definitely play well with others. I haven't met any cats yet in my shelter life, but I'm so eager to please, if you (or your cat) corrects me, I'll learn good cat manners in a jiffy.
