Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Winter was found wandering alone, silent and gentle, heart worm positive, but not starved or injured. Safe at the shelter, she was adored by the staff, but no one came for her and she was so sad living in a cage.
The elders are dear to my heart and I accepted the shelter's offer to provide the heart worm treatment if we could take her in. Before the treatment, she needed all her energy just to do each day. With the worm burden gone from her heart and lungs, she has new energy and a fresh interest in life. She even plays grandma with the puppies!
She's ready to be someone's special love now -- a cozy companion, without the zip and demand of puppies or young adults!
Winter is spayed, vaccinated, house trained, does well on a leash and in the car. Her adoption fee is $125.00.
