Max's Story...
Hey everybody, I'm Max! I'm a fun and loving two year old pup. No one really knows my exact mix, but they think I've got maybe Great Dane/Cur of Husky/Lab, but either way I've been told I'm very handsome and very enjoyable to be around!

I've tested positive for heartworm, but have no symptoms and I'm on monthly doses of advantage multi, so it should be gone in 6-24 months. I'm totally worth helping out! I hope you are he family to help me with that!

I'm currently located in Natchez, MS, but transport to New England or Chicago can be arranged through Animal Rescue Front. If you're interested in taking me into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Groton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Groton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
