Chase's Story...
Hi, I'm Chase and I'm a sweet and loving, one year old tan and white lab mix. Most of my shelter pals tell me I'm the nicest, calmest, and sweetest pup around. I love to relax, but I get along very well with others - dogs, cats, humans, etc! I have a slightly misshapen head, as I was born that way, but it just makes me more unique I think. :)

I did just test positive for heartworm but I'm taking monthly doses of advantage multi to treat it and it should be gone in 6-24 months. I'm worth helping out though! :)

Although I am currently in Natchez, Mississippi, transportation to the New England area is provided by Animal Rescue Front and is included in the adoption fee. If you are interested in taking me into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chase, a Groton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Groton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
