My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Initial Bio 06/30/15: Mandy is an adorable little female Yorkie, approximately 6 years old. She came to us as breeder release and probably was not treated so much as a pet as she was mother dog used strictly for producing litters of puppies, so she is looking for a quiet home with lots of love and attention now that her puppy bearing days are behind her. Mandy is about 6 to 6 ½ pounds and has a very sweet personality. She follows me everywhere I go in the house except upstairs as she has not mastered the staircase yet.



She gets along well with the other dogs in the household but I’m not sure about cats. She does like to be the center of attention and will push the other dogs away so she gets all the loving. She has not been around children that I am aware of and I would suggest a home without small children due to her size.



Mandy needs a home with a fenced back yard. She will go outdoors to do her business but we do have some accidents in the house once in a while as I believe she was caged quite a bit of her life and not taught to go outdoors. She has used the potty pad but will not seek it out or let you know if she needs to go outdoors. We’re currently working on using the pad or going outdoors.



She has been microchipped and just had a teeth cleaning.



She seems to be pretty social and likes people. She will allow strangers to hold and pet her. She will lie on your lap while you are watching tv or cuddle up beside you.



Mandy is a wonderful little lady who will fill your heart with love and happiness.
