FREEDOM's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

FREEDOM's Story...
FREEDOM and siblings got their names because they became Blues City pups on 4th of July weekend. They will be 9 weeks old on 7/22/15. These pups live in a foster home with other dogs, a cat, and a very young little girl. They are great with all. They love to play, but are laid back by puppy standards. When their foster mom drives them around, they are exceptionally quiet in the car. They are picking up on potty training really quickly. They seem to have perfect temperaments to be excellent family dogs.

FREEDOM will be microchipped and vaccinated as many times as age will allow before traveling to her forever family.
The $450 adoption fee includes health certificate and transport to New England.

For an adoption application on FREEDOM please email wbtanner1982@gmail.com

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

FREEDOM, a Brattleboro Border Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Border Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
