Rollo's Story...
He does exist! Mr. Perfect exist and he's at the Darlington County Humane Society. Super sweet and smooth operator. This guy will be in your lap before you even know what happened, and he'll be sure to award you with kisses. Walking like a pro on the lead, and meeting other dogs with ease. He even met a puppy who fell head over heels for him, but who wouldn't fall for Mr. Perfect? When returned back to the kennel his roommate turned into a crazy fan girl, and could not control her happiness to have Rollo back. It was super cute to see how much she's fallen for this stud. A gentle soul that is very deserving of a safe spot to call home. 4-5 years, heartworm +, 49 lbs

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rollo, a Darlington Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Darlington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Darlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Darlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Darlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Darlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
