Lado's Story...
Smooth operator Lado just loves to go with the flow. He has a relaxed and carefree manner that makes it easy for him get along with other dogs and people. He was waggy tailed and friendly and happy to share some hugs and kisses with his human companions. Lado has been sharing his space with the lovely Lucinda, but when he was taken back to his kennel he was accidentally put in with teen pup Mary Alice and he seemed fine with that as well. He is a cool, composed fellow and seems to have a very balanced personality which would help him fit well in a range of situations. His hang dog expression had the crew guessing there may be a bit of hound dawg mixed in with this lab. 1-2 years, 59 lbs

Act quickly to adopt Lado. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lado, a Darlington Labrador Retriever/Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Bloodhound for sale in Darlington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Darlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Darlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Darlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Bloodhound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Darlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
