My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LILY is a 5 year old spayed yellow female Lab that weighs 95 pounds. She comes from a rural area and is not approved for apartment/townhouse/condo living. She gets scared of loud noises and will try to bolt, so extra care when transporting her is needed.
Lily is a very sweet and pretty girl. She has lived on a farm and has been used in a breeding program the last few years. Lily should go to a home with a fenced in yard as she enjoys exploring outside. She loves pets and attention from her humans. Lily is good with other dogs and she should go to a home with another dog. She is also good with cats- she lived with a few cats. Lily seems to be a smart girl who is very loyal and loving to her humans. Lily is approved for kids ages 10+.
Update (9/24): Lovely Lily here, wanted to let everyone know how I've been doing. I have become such a people pup, I love Foster Dads lap and I love to snuggle with Foster Mom, but I'm not a Velcro dog. She is doing quite well and has excellent manners. She loves her pets and belly rubs, many times she does not come back inside when the other girls do and just wants to enjoy the outdoors. She is not afraid of any noises loud or otherwise that I have exposed her to other than thunder. I get along well with the resident labs, but given the choice I want to be the center of someone's world. I listen well and will talk to you if you are not paying attention to me.

Update (8/22):Lily is getting along with the resident labs and cats, though she doesn't feel like she has to be with the other dogs all the time. As long as she has her people she is happy, she likes to spend time in the yard resting in the shade. She does not try to leave the yard if we leave the fenced area and she has not had a problem with noises even when a wooden cutting board hit the floor and my girls jumped.

Update (7/31): Lily is a such a sweet girl. She is getting along well with the resident labs. She is such a good girl! If you like cuddling, puppy kisses and giving belly rubs, this is the girl for you!
