Today we'd like to introduce you to Calle and Kaax, our special cats all the way from Mexico!
Hi! My name is Calle (the handsome tabby), and this my best friend Kaax. We're senior cats (at eight years young) and we've been through some rough times together, but we would love to make a new start with you. We were rescued by an amazing woman in Mexico, but devastatingly, she passed away. After some travel and sadness, we're now ready to find a furever home to settle in.
So, a bit about me! I love napping in the sun, investigating my surroundings and cuddling. I will curl up on your lap, snuggle next to you in bed and happily keep you company as you surf the net and binge watch the newest Netflix series. You should know that although I'm blind, it does not hold me back. You will never catch me bumping into your furniture as other cats strangely seem to do. I may be nervous in new places at first, but after some slow exploring, I will find the most comfortable perches in your home in no time!
Hey Calle, move over! It's my turn! I'm Kaax. Nice to meet you! Calle may be the more outgoing one, but once I warm up to you, I'm even snugglier than he is! I might keep my distance at first or hide a bit; however, soon I will venture out and rub my face up against your legs to let you know that I would love for you to pet me. If you sit on the couch, you are definitely fair game as far as I'm concerned... before you know it, I will have hopped up beside you, hoping it's cuddle time.
Once I get to know you, I will want to stay close to you. Kaax is a Mayan name which means guardian of all animals. I will always be there for you, and I don't want you to feel lonely ever again!
If you have never considered adopting a senior cat, you might want to think about it. Calle and I will give you so much love, without keeping you awake at night and jumping all over you the way kittens might. You'll know exactly what to expect from us! Most of all, you'd be giving us a new start to a big chapter in our lives, a chapter that's going to be full of love and lots of relaxation -- hopefully with you!
