My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Romeo and my best friend is Juliet. We are a bonded pair of quaker parrots who must be adopted together. When we first came into rescue, Juliet was plucking quite badly and we were both scared and considered a bit aggressive. However, we have blossomed since coming into rescue! We are fabulous eaters and will try just about anything you give us. We currently eat a diet of pellets, fresh vegetables, fruits, and healthy nuts. We especially like it when our foster Mom makes us fresh, delicious treats – our favorite is banana! We also now love to come out of our cage to explore our environment. Like most quakers, we can still be a little cage defensive, but once away from our cage, we are quite nice and will step up for you. We like to go outside for sunshine and fresh air (supervised and safe in an enclosed area, of course) and we love to chatter back and forth. We even wolf whistle and try really hard to talk! We do get quite upset if we are separated though, so please understand that if you adopt us, that we have to remain together - always. We are really looking forward to finding a family who will provide us lots of love and care for the rest of our days. Maybe that family can be with you? Please come meet us very soon to see!
