My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poor SOPHIE was spayed by a nice woman in the Fort Allen area who was feeding her and a few less-friendly cats. Neighborhood youths were tormenting the cats and Sophie was so friendly, she'd walk right up to these hoodlums, purring and trying to headbutt them! Her caretaker appealed to these brats' parents. Unfortunately, the parents' response was, "Good! We hope they kill her! We don't want no stray cats roaming around here!" It is incomprehensible to us how parents can encourage their children to harm innocent animals! We are beyond full but made an exception for Sophie to keep her safe.

SOPHIE is as sweet as they come! Soft, thick fur that you will love petting; she has a kind, sweet attitude. All she wants is to love and be loved! Can you give her a safe home and love? A little over a year old, this cutie will reward you many times over! As you can see in Pix #3, she knows how to use her scratching post, too!

SOPHIE is located in a foster home. She loves hanging with the other kitties, especially tiny Ernie whom she gently plays with and grooms! She is talkative and loves napping on the sofa nearby as you work and will keep you company in bed at night, too. She is shy but easygoing, comes up to get petted but prefers not to be held; loves to play and doesn't have a mean bone in her body! Please contact Foster Mom DIANE today to meet this pretty girl!
