Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This precious little maltese mix is approx 1 year old and 11 lbs. She was found in a local park and was really matted, so she had to be shaved down. Her coat should grow back beautifully in a few months. She is such a sweet and well behaved little girl. She seems to be pretty well house trained and is running outside to the yard with the other dogs. She loves her doggie bed and will curl up in it to sleep and just hang out. She gets along well with the other dogs. She loves treats and she loves to eat and could do with putting on some weight. She has a really sweet personality and gets along with everyone
If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email. Also, The state of MA does not allow adoptions of dogs that are heart worm positive. We are required to do a foster to adopt until the dog tests heart worm negative, usually in 4-6 months after treatment.
