Bernard's Story...
This sweet boy is Bernard. Him and his 4 siblings were found obviously abandoned and running down the middle of the road. A nice lady stopped and picked them up and called to see if I could take them. Bernard looks to be a beagle mix with possibly a blue heeler and he will probably be a small to medium adult. Bernard is very social and playful. He also has a double duclaw on one of his back paws which is unique! Bernard would make a great addition to any family situation. He currently weighs about 8 pounds, 9 weeks old and is neutered and up to date on all other vetting. Bernard is located in Arkansas but we have transport that takes our adopted doggies to the Northeast weekly. When we list our rescue doggies on Adoptapet.com- they send out the info to all areas that our transport delivers to or near. For more info on this sweet boy- please email Sandy at vshutchins@gmail.com and thank you for considering adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bernard, a Buffalo Beagle/Blue Heeler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Blue Heeler for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Beagle/Blue Heeler puppy from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Beagle/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
