UPDATE: Lance is now available for adoption! He is neutered, has had two rounds of puppy vaccinations, is microchipped and dewormed.
Lance is new to rescue! He turned 7 weeks old on Sunday, 07/26, and is one of four beautiful puppies. He is purebred, AKC registered and both parents have red and black coats. The puppies were surrendered to WGSR due to a death in the breeder’s family.
The puppies will be in our care until 10 weeks of age. We will be pre-adopting them so that, once they are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed, they will then go to their chosen families. The adoption donation is paid directly to our veterinarian.
We will accept out-of-area adoptions on a case by case basis. Adopters will be required to enroll in puppy classes and basic obedience classes.
The foster mom will be matching up the puppies to applicants based on their temperament and what the adopter is looking for in a Shepherd and the adopters' experience.

Adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. WA German Shepherd Rescue is the companion animal's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general needs and the unique needs of each individual dog in our care. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption without explanation.
