My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This cutie-pie is Ashland, a 1-year-old, Australian cattle dog mix. At around 40 lbs., Ashland is that perfect yet hard to find, “medium sized dog”. She also just happens to be one of the happiest pups you’ll ever meet. A perfect day for Ashland would be a long walk with her best pal, followed by playtime with her favorite toys and then a nap in the sunshine. She’s a simple girl whose enthusiasm for life endears her to everyone she meets. She is still a puppy and will need plenty of guidance and love from her adopting family. Think she might be the girl for you? Call The Pet Rescue Center today to meet Ashland.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
