My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Madison was observed being dumped from a car in a parking lot. Her crime was probably being a beagle puppy! A Good Samaritan came to her rescue and called HBHR to help find her a new home. This sweet girl is around 10 months old, and is full grown at 13 inches and 15 pounds, just a tiny little thing!

Madison may be pint sized, but has the self confidence of a tiger! She loves playing and wrestling with her pack of foster siblings. This girl has no trouble getting the big boys to roll over on their backs. She is the champion of the pack! She is house broken, crate and dog door trained. She has had no accidents but will get into things if left on her own for long. She does like to chew but seems to prefer the tags on her collars. She is on her third HBHR tag because she eats the phone numbers off! She is fairly quiet unless one of the others has a treasure that she wants. Madison seems to understand that cute goes a long way when you are a puppy!

As active as this girl can be, she has a quiet, cuddly side also. She loves to curl up next to someone when it is time for a nap. She will sleep on a dog bed at night but she prefers to be under the covers along your side for sleep! Her soft brown eyes will melt your heart, so she often gets her way! Her sweet, loving nature tells you that she is going to be one great beagle when her crazy puppy days are behind her! Madison will do best in an active home with no small children. If everyone works during the day, she will need a canine friend. To learn about adopting Madison, please go to our website at www.HoustonBeagleRescue.org and click on the link "About Adoption."
