My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aurora is an 11 month female, spayed, UTD on vet care, and 100% litter box trained. With hypnotizing green eyes and a mellow spirit, she brings such a peaceful aura wherever she goes. She moved her only day old babies into our backyard a couple months ago. She was horribly emaciated and both her and the kittens were covered in fleas and ticks so we knew we had to try and help them. She was scared when first trapped, but once she quickly realized we only wanted to help everything changed and she’s been nothing but a gentle lover ever since.

She loves to have head rubs and will gladly sit in your lap just to be close and observe what you’re up to. Not the typical “knock your glass off the counter” type, she’ll sit on my desk on patient standby to just watch what I’m doing until I can spare a quick chin rub. She’s never even thought about scratching or biting no matter what poking or prodding has gone on, I don’t think she’s capable of being mean to a human. She’s not a fan of curious dogs though and will chase them off, I don’t know if she’s just in protective mode over her babies, or she’s had a bad experience with dogs in the past, but maybe with a more mellow dog and none of her kittens about she’d trust that they won’t hurt her. It’s very easy to clip her nails though, so nail caps would be a breeze if needed. Aurora would love to have a family of her own to cuddle up to and spend the rest of her days with.

If you're interested in adopting her or one of her kittens, please shoot me an email at askittleaday@gmail.com and I'd be happy to discuss!
