My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WE SUPPORT LAW ENFORCEMENT, especially the Sheriff of Sequoyah County. If it wasn't for him..............well we wouldn't be here. A horrible witch was going to fry us up, here's how it all happenen. A few weeks ago the witch had our mother and the 4 of us penned up under the porch. She was just waiting for us to get big enough for her to fry us up with potatoes for her supper. The witch, being very self-centered as most witches are, just forgot to feed momma. Momma died a terrible death of starvation and dehydration. It was horrible, but momma loved us so much that she fed us to the very end. About four days after she died we were feeling pretty weak and thought the end was near. Then out of the west, on a big white horse, with guns blazing, 7 feet tall and wearing a big white hat, came the Sheriff. Well, o.k.....so maybe he was just a regular guy driving a patrol car, but he sure looked like a hero to us! He charged that ole witch with animal abuse and took us to Rescue, NOW THAT"S A HERO.

That's us that's good puppiesAmelia, Tessa, Whisper, and Juno. We were pretty skinny when we got here, in fact we weren't even weaned and had to learn how to eat out of a dish. You ought to see us now, we are fat and happy and know that we aren't going to be anybodys dinner. If fact Foster Mother says she will help us find homes where we will always be safe and loved. She says we will be medium sized dogs, with short, easy care coats, just what you are looking for. Life has turned out to be pretty good, but it will be even better if the witch goes to jail. If you'll come see us we will tell you all about the Sheriff and his big white, er..patrol car. Come soon! Oh, and if you see the Sheriff, tell him he is a hero!
