My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Maggie Mae! She's a 9 month old Black Lab/Shepherd mix that was adopted as a younger pup but her owner is having health problems and can no longer keep her. Maggie is very friendly, already knows her name and some basic commands too. Her owner said she walks well on a leash. Miss Mae loved their cat and always wanted to play with her. She did well with children according to owner. She does have some separation anxiety...would get herself out of her crate and chew up what she could find, usually paper. She may do better with another dog in the home to help her anxiety but she has never lived with another dog. Mag needs a fenced yard being a very active dog. Maggie Mae is already a great dog and not even a year old yet. Hurry on down to Friendship and check her out.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
