Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Newest update July 2015: Jackson is a big dog with an even bigger heart! He is a sweet and handsome Labrador Retriever and is six years old. Jack weighs almost 100 pounds and could still lose a couple more lbs. Our southern rescue partners told us, "He enjoys being close by your side on daily walks. He enjoys being in the shelter yard, where he loves to play with the toys. Jack is very good-natured and loves to be petted. He is an obedient dog who knows the "sit" command. You could not ask for a more devoted companion than this big guy!"
Now that he is with us in Maine we could not love this dog more! He loves other dogs and he absolutely adores children. Jack is not a good match for cats. He rides in the car like a champ and he loves exploring at the beach.
Jack is our "go-to" guy when we need an ambassador to come to events with us. He is a doll!
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.
Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
