Aisha's Story...
Introducing miss sweetie-pie Aisha. She is a 5 year-old black and white, blue-eyed female Siberian weighing in at about 60 pounds. Unfortunately, Aisha's first 5 years of life were pretty hard. We hope though that a wonderful family will make the rest of Aisha's life full of beautiful times. When Aisha first arrived at MUSHR she didn't know much about indoor family living, but now she knows how to go up/down stairs, is already crate-trained and potty-trained and is doing well with leash training. One thing Aisha caught on really quickly with was affection. She absolutely loves to be around people. She will nuzzle up to anyone willing to let her and just look up at you waiting patiently for a head rub. She will take any affection you can give! Aisha seems to prefer to be around other dogs too, so a home with a dog already would be a better fit for her. One thing is for certain, this is one dog that will be extremely grateful to become a part of a loving family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aisha, a Minneapolis Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
