Vader's Info...

Vader's Story...

Vader exhibits the characteristics of labrador retrievers that we love--he's friendly to people and dogs, loves attention, and is a great companion.  He's not too fond of shelter life, so come visit him and whisk him away from his stress!  Vader exhibits some anxiety and negative reaction related to children. However, he adores other dogs and would enjoy a home with canine fellowship which will help him expel energy! You'll love having this medium-sized boy in your family!

If you wish to meet Vader, please visit the Humane Society of York County at 8177 Regent Parkway, Fort Mill, SC during our adoption hours Tues. - Sun. 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vader, a Fort Mill Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Fort Mill, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Fort Mill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Mill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Mill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Mill paves the way for another one to be saved.
