Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WORF
3 years old - Great Dane - Male - somewhat limited vision
Worf is a laid back, gentle three-year-old male Great Dane who is a little shy at first, but truly a sweet boy once he warms up to you. Worf lives with and gets along with other dogs and cats; though due to his limited vision he will not be going to a home with extremely young children as he doesn’t like to be startled. Worf has seen an ophthalmologist who said that his cataracts are congenital and he has developed normal lens tissue around them and they are very unlikely to progress, and Worf probably sees better in low light than bright light. This shadow Dane just needs a consistent routine and walks in a neighborhood or area where there he won’t feel overwhelmed with unknown people or animals constantly approaching, or he needs someone with a schedule that can walk him in early morning or evening hours, accommodating his optimal vision experience. Worf is an easy-going dog who will warm your heart! He doesn’t necessarily need an experienced adopter, just someone who will be patient with him and work to help him feel comfortable in his new forever home.
