Tilly's Story...
Introducing Tilly. Sweet Tilly was at Memphis Animal Services when we first met her. Sadly she was there during a puppy boom and they all were past their deadline of 72 hours. We received an email that a number of sweet babes were to be euthanized. Why? Because that is the same fate that almost 500 dogs fell victim to at this high kill shelter.

Needless to say, we are more than thrilled to add sweet Tilly to our rescue group. Little Tilly is living in a foster home with kids, a cat and other pups. Life is good and we can't wait to see what the rest of their lives have in store for them. tilly's adoption fee is $300 and includes her vaccinations, microchip, spay surgery, and deworming. A fully vetted, irresistibly adorable puppy, ready to join her forever family. Please email us at wilsonanimalrescue@yahoo.com for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tilly, a Nashville German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Nashville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
