Kenny-Foster Home Neede's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Kenny-Foster Home Neede's Story...
This handsome young kitty boy had been hanging outside of an apartment in Fredericksburg, VA for more than two weeks. He's very friendly, already neutered and obviously was someones pet at some point. All efforts to find his home have been exhausted. The young woman who contacted us for help was concerned for his safety as she lives by a very busy road...and we all know that black cats are most likely to be abused so we agreed to take him in.

Kenny is very affectionate and enjoys lots of attention. He is always eager to make new friends. If you're looking for an easygoing companion who would be happy to bird watch until you return home, Kenny's the one! He's estimated to be 1-2 yrs old, enjoys both canned & dry food and has purr-fect litter box habits. All medical work done. Microchip, too!

Not 100% sure you're ready to make a long term commitment? We're also looking for a temporary foster home for Kenny until his forever home comes along.

** Did you know that black cats are half as likely to be adopted as other colors and are considered to be the underdog of the cat world? Give Kenny a chance and he'll prove what a loving companion he can be! **

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kenny-Foster Home Neede, a Arlington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
