Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Flower came to us from the Travis Co. Sheriff. She was not in good shape. Very underweight and lame due to lack of care. Flower is branded with CSU (Co. State Uni). We figured she was a part of their breeding program. Somehow she ended up in Texas and obviously not with the best owner. She is now getting the care she needs in hope that she will have a full recovery.
Flower is on a special high fat diet with numerous supplements to help her gain weigh. She is also getting her feet treated because she has very thin soles.
Flower vet expenses are pretty high. We had to pay $246 for x-rays, $175 for Farrier to make her special shoes, $250 when she chocked on food and of course the special diet food, supplements and pain meds she needs to take every day are not cheap. We are seeking donations to help with Flower's vet bills.
